Disclosure: I received this product as a gift from Influenster for my honest review, and all opinions are 100 percent my own.
Hi guys! Today I’m sharing a product I’ve been enjoying lately, the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Vitamin C. Before I start, you know I’m going to be real with you, so I’ll walk you through what it is, what’s in it, how I used it, and what I honestly think. Let’s get into it!
What Is It?
Alright, so this little bottle is an all-in-one brightening micellar water. It promises to cleanse, take off your makeup, and give you a bit of glow. The label says it’s made for dull skin, even if you’ve got sensitive skin like me, and you can use it on your face, lips, and eyes. It’s a good-sized bottle too! 13.5 ounces, so it’ll last you a while before you need more.
Benefits Listed on the Bottle

Oil-free, alcohol-free, fragrance-free, and cruelty-free.Retailers also list it as a vegan formula, which means no animal-derived ingredients.

How I Used It
It’s really simple, and that’s what I love:
- Tilt the bottle and soak a cotton pad.
- Gently swipe over your face and eyes. I held the pad on my eye for a moment so the makeup could lift.
- Take a peek at your cotton pad; you will see all that makeup come off, let me tell you!
- No rinsing needed at all.
Where It Fits in My Routine
After a long day of cleaning, cooking, and running around, the last thing I want is a complicated routine. Some days I’m so tired I don’t feel like doing much, and this makes taking my makeup off easy. Since there’s no rinsing and no rubbing, I can do it quickly and get on with my evening. It’s a one-step cleanse, and you know I love anything that makes life a little easier lol!
My Honest Review
It took my makeup off with no problem at all. I didn’t have to scrub or pull at my skin, which is a blessing because I’m not about to fight with my face lol! And there was no weird chemical smell, thank goodness! because some products will just knock you out with their scent, but this one is nice and gentle on the nose. I love the bubbles that float in it. It’s a small thing, but it makes it fun to look at and use. My skin is looking more brighter these days, and the price is right in my budget. At first, my skin was very dark and dull looking. Since I started using this product, I have noticed small changes, and they've made me happy to keep using it. Some products don't show results overnight, and I'm not saying this product is a miracle in a bottle. I know it feels good on my skin, and it's looking fresh and bright again. Everybody’s skin is different, so your results may not look like mine.
Who Is This For?
On the bottle and my own experience, I’d say it’s a good fit if you:
- Wear makeup and want an easy way to take it off
- Have dull skin and want a little extra glow
- Have sensitive skin, since it’s oil-free, alcohol-free, and fragrance-free
- Want something gentle that won’t break the bank
Price and Where to Buy
Prices vary a lot depending on where you shop, but I've seen it for about $8.82 to $10.79 for the big 13.5 oz bottle. Check your local store or poke around online to see what you can find. H-E-B is my go-to grocery store where I find almost everything I need. Check it out at HEB and Walmart.
I like that it:
1. Removes makeup very easily2. There is no chemical smell
3. Looking at the fun floating bubbles
4. It brightens the skin
5. Budget friendly
6. Gentle for sensitive skin, per what the bottle says
Are there any cons?
No, I don’t have any. I have nothing bad to say about this one.
My Final Thoughts
I really love the product and what it does for my skin. I'm almost out of it lol! And I will be buying more once it's all gone. I want to thank Influenster for sending me a great product. Have y'all tried this product yet? If so let me know in the comments! xoxox

DeleteI have been using this micellar water by Garnier for a couple of years. Sometimes, I get that one, and others I get a different scent. Like you said, there’s really not much of a scent at all, and it really works! Thanks for the review, Trina!
