Art on the Tracks: My Brushstroke Jumpsuit Fashion

I decided to take myself out for a little creative moment today, and I ended up right on the train tracks near my place. I’ve always loved graffiti art, ever since I was younger. There’s something about the way artists tag those trains with all that color and boldness. It’s like they’re leaving pieces of their soul behind for the world to see. Every train car tells a story, and I wanted my outfit to be part of that story too.

I set up my camera the way I always do when I’m doing a self‑photoshoot. Tripod in the gravel, timer on, and me running back and forth trying to beat the countdown before it snaps. It’s funny and a little chaotic, but that’s the fun of it. The trains were still, the sun was warm, and the graffiti behind me was popping with every color you can imagine. It made the perfect backdrop for what I had on.

My outfit today is one of my favorites from my Amazon storefront. I’m wearing this bold, abstract brushstroke two‑piece set that looks like someone painted it straight out of an art studio. All those reds, blues, oranges, yellows, and whites blend together like a moving canvas. The sleeveless top fits just right, and the matching pants flow with every step I take. I paired it with my red heels because you know I love a good pop of color, and they matched my red clutch perfectly. I added my gold bangles for a little shine, and of course my big sunglasses because that’s just me — I love a dramatic accessory moment.

My silver‑gray braids were catching the light, and honestly, the whole look came together better than I expected. Standing there between two graffiti‑covered train cars, I felt like the outfit belonged in that space. Art on the trains, art on me. It all blended together in the best way.

I’ve always loved fashion, and getting back into blogging feels like coming home. Days like this remind me why I started in the first place — the creativity, the colors, the freedom to express myself however I want. And if a train rolls by covered in paint and personality, you better believe I’m gonna be right there matching its energy.

Down here on my side of town, art has really been showing out lately. Every time I turn around, there’s something new happening, and it just makes me smile because Bryan and College Station have always had this creative heartbeat running through them. We may be a smaller area compared to the big cities, but we’ve got talent, passion, and folks who truly care about keeping art alive. I was reading about the Community Art Day at The Arts Center, and it reminded me how much this place pours into creativity. Families, kids, artists, everybody coming together to paint, learn, and celebrate what art means to our community. It’s the kind of event that makes you feel proud to live here.

What amazes me most is how many sculptures, murals, and creative spots we have tucked all around town. You can be driving to the store or running errands and suddenly see a beautiful sculpture standing tall like it’s been waiting for you to notice it. Bryan especially has this old‑town charm mixed with modern art energy, and College Station keeps adding new pieces that make you stop and stare. It’s like the whole area is slowly turning into an open‑air gallery, and I love that for us. Art has a way of making everyday life feel a little more magical, and I’m grateful to live somewhere that embraces it so openly.

Arc De Luna

And speaking of art around here, I had to mention one piece that always catches my eye every time I’m out and about. There’s this beautiful red arch sculpture called Arc De Luna right in Bryan, and I’ve seen it so many times over the years. I don’t know what it is about that arch, but it just pulls you in. It’s bold, it’s bright, and it stands there like it’s welcoming you into a whole other world. Every time I drive past it or walk near it, I slow down just to take it in. It’s one of those pieces that makes you appreciate how much creativity lives in this town.
