I've always been looking for the perfect foundation for my mature skin and I think I have found it! I have combination skin, which sometimes is oily and dry, and to mention, I hate my open pores. As I've mentioned before, I have a combination skin type, which mostly can get dry during summer months with dry patches and such. I've tried other foundations for my skin, which would settle into my fine lines and make them look even worse and make me look much older. I hate foundations like those that give all the hype of smoothing out your skin, just to disappoint you! Some have made me look too cakey, ugh! or just too heavy.
Anyway, I love the pink compact which has a mirror inside with a cute pink foundation pad to apply it. The round sponge inside that is soaked with foundation is so soft. When I apply it to my face, it feels so lightweight and feels so cool when I press it into my skin, which I love.
The Wear Test!
It held up pretty darn good when I made my little Western Glam video of me dancing to what fashion I was wearing. It didn't melt lol! It stayed flawless. It held during grocery shopping with my mother which was about 2 hours in the grocery store and also held putting away my food and doing a bit of cleaning, watching TV, and working at my computer. It stayed for hours before it was time to take it off at the end of the evening. It's a great foundation for a busy lifestyle!
My only con in my opinion is it's a little too dewy since my skin does produce a lot of oil sometimes. I'm normally a woman that likes just a little matte, but hey, it gave me such a natural glow to my skin, so I don't mind the extra dewyness lol! If there is too much dewyness, I sometimes add a little powder to tone it down a bit, just a light pat here and there. Oh and it hide my pores really good!
You can use this foundation as a light touch-and-go, or you can build it up as much as you want. I like to build it to cover the dark spots under my chin and it does such a great job at covering that for me. To me, it's a holy grail for my flawless look. I chose the color 10N Natural Espresso and it fits my tone just right. They have 19 other shades that you can choose from.
